I am constantly on the search for good oat recipes. Oat is one of my favourite ingredients for breakfast and snacks. It is amazing how such humble grain is so healthy. Not only is it gluten-free, but it contains fibers, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Moreover starting a day with a simple oatmeal keeps blood sugar level steady throughout the day, helps in weight loss and maintaining optimal weight. One more baked oat recipe. This one is without fresh fruit, and can last longer. I make little changes: instead of olive oil, raisins and brown sugar I use coconut oil, cranberries and honey. It is very simple to make and store. I make it once in 2 weeks, cut in bars, wrap in parchment paper, store in airtight container in fridge. And I have healthy snack for everyday.
