Breakfast is one of essential parts of healthy life.
If you are trying to improve your health and life than you should consider including breakfast in your daily routine, and here is way.
Nutritious breakfast every day increases concentration, memory and energy; as well lowers chances of diabetes, ˝bad˝ cholesterol and overweight.
Fuel for body and brain
In the morning glucose levels in blood are low. For our muscles and brain to function we have to restore lack of glucose with a healthy breakfast.
It is important to emphasize here on healthy breakfast. That means complex carbohydrates, proteins, good fats (don’t forget fat transforms into energy in body) and fibers.
Breakfast ˝turns-on˝ metabolism. This is important because during sleep you body starts to starve and goes to saving mode. That means that metabolism is off and body is storing fat because it doesn’t know when will be the next meal. When you eat you first meal metabolism starts to work processing your meal and stored fat. That is why you should have your first meal as soon as you wake up.
During sleep we rest but our body is working full time. In the morning, due to fall of glucose levels in blood, level of cortisol (stress hormone) is high, that is why we feel cranky in the morning. Here comes breakfast to save the day, it increases levels of glucose wich in turn lowers levels of cortisol.
Think about it. When you start the day full of energy to do all you need to do is a good day, you feel confident and good about yourself. Don’t wait for those accidental rare energised mornings, good breakfast is what gives you that energy every morning.
Every day there are more and more evidences that eating breakfast affects your daily life.
Just to name few changes you may experience:
- Improved endurance during exercising.
- Better brain performance.
- Regulated appetite.
- Some studies show that people who eat healthy breakfast tend to eat less ˝snacks˝ during the day.
- Starting the day with a healthy meal leads to making more healthy decisions rest of the day.
- Lowered risk of developing diabetes.

Get up, fuel your body with nutritious food and you are ready to climb your mountains.
