VEGAN SUBSTITUTES FOR NON-VEGAN INGREDIENTS
1 cup milk = 1 cup plant milk
1 cup yogurt = 1 cup plant yogurt
1 cup buttermilk = 1 cup soy milk + 1 tbsp white vinegar
1 cup heavy cream = 1 cup canned coconut milk (only top layer) / 8 oz silken tofu
1 cup condensed milk = 1 cup canned coconut milk
8 oz cream cheese = 8 oz silken tofu
4 oz butter = 4 oz vegan butter / 4 oz margarine / 4 oz coconut oil / 4 oz nut butters
1 egg = 1 flax egg (1tbsp flax meal + 3tbsp water) / 1 mashed banana / 1 tbsp applesauce / 3 tbsp aquafaba / potato starch (1tbsp potato starch + 2tbsp water)
